Stateside performer Pat Finn, who appeared in iconic TV shows such as Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has succumbed aged 60.
The comedy and improvisation performer died at home in LA recently after undergoing treatment for cancer from 2022 onward, as reported by media reports.
"He never met a stranger - just potential friends he hadn't encountered," his relatives shared in a statement.
They noted that he had "lived his life fully - with joy and exuberance".
Finn's first television role was on a show starring George Wendt in 1995, where he portrayed the titular character's brother.
He also had a recurring role on "Murphy Brown" from 1995 to 1997.
He starred as Joe Mayo in Seinfeld in 1998, portraying a host who would assign tedious tasks to his guests.

He was most recognized for playing the character Bill Norwood in "The Middle", starring in eight series over nearly a decade.
His film credits encompass It's Complicated (2009) and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.
Beyond his acting parts, Finn was a skilled improviser and worked as a teacher at the University of Colorado, where he was a faculty member.
He was part of a six-member improv team known as Beer Shark Mice.
"Pat coached, befriended and mentored many learners throughout the years and you'd be hard-pressed to find a person anyplace who has an unkind word to say about him," his relatives stated.
Offering condolences, peer Richard Kind said there was "nobody more kind, gentle, and humorous, authentic human being you could encounter".
"Consistently upbeat, assisting others to improve and be funnier. A great dad, a great guy," he shared publicly.
Pat Finn is remembered by his partner Donna, his three kids, and his mother, father, and brothers/sisters.
