Oversight Panel
The House investigative committee has published a collection of approximately 70 photographs obtained from the property of former found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
This represents the third such disclosure from a larger collection of over 95,000 photographs the body has acquired from Epstein's estate. It features images of excerpts from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and censored pictures of women's overseas passports.
This action occurs hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose every files related to its investigation into Epstein.
"These new images bring up further queries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its possession," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.
A number of the photographs published on this week depict Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned next to a woman whose face is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.
Investigative Body
These are the latest affluent, influential men to be seen in Epstein's estate images released by the House Oversight Committee - earlier released pictures also show US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.
Showing up in the images is is not considered indication of any wrongdoing, and a number of the pictured men have asserted they were never involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.
In a announcement issued alongside the image release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide context or timeframes for the pictures.
"Photos were picked to offer the general populace with transparency into a illustrative selection of the images acquired from the property, and to give understanding into Epstein's associates and his extremely troubling activities," the announcement says.

The release also includes several images of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in ink across several locations of a woman's body, including her chest, lower extremity, pelvis, and back. Lolita recounts the story of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.
An example of a excerpt from the book inscribed across a female's upper body says, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".
The release also contains a series of images of women's passports and official papers from states worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the papers, including names and DOBs, is redacted but the committee stated in a press release that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".
A further photograph features Epstein positioned at a table closely surrounded by three individuals whose features have been censored - a first has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and another individual is leaning to view a adjacent laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the final person attach a piece of jewelry.

An additional photo released is a screenshot of text messages from an unknown person who states they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$1000 per girl".
The panel has many thousands of photographs in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "both explicit and everyday," its announcement on Thursday noted.
The Congressional committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.
The photos and records the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are distinct from what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those files are documents within the DOJ's control related to its independent investigation into Epstein.
In accordance with the Transparency Act, which the President signed into law in November, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its records. The extent of what's included in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's probable that much of the information will be significantly redacted, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
