Football Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexico to £15k

Welsh football star Ramsey has boosted the incentive for information about the missing dog named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.

The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.

"Any updates regarding our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return with us soon," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.

Earlier Bounty and Emotional Appeals

Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has subsequently shared multiple pictures of the cherished dog on Instagram.

A £7,500 bounty was initially announced, but with no news on Halo's status after a week, the player and his family increased the amount.

"Our only wish is Halo returned," he stated in a further appeal on social media after the elderly dog went missing.

The latest picture share is a monochrome image of the beagle napping, her head lying in the curve of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I'd do to embrace you once more Halo."

Family's Concerns and Background

Ramsey has also shared a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "important concerns" regarding the disappearance and fear the household "could possibly not receive answers".

"To this day we are still searching for our dog. I fear we will," his wife's update read.

The Welsh leader became part of Mexico's premier team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in August.

The Caerphilly-born athlete is the pioneering well-known British player to compete in the Liga MX.
