Individual That Grabbed Ariana Grande at Movie Premiere Banned from Singapore

An Australian man who jumped across a fence and reached for celebrity Ariana Grande has been expelled and barred from Singapore.

The man, 26, was sentenced to over a week in detention for causing a public disturbance and has now been "banned from entering the country again," Singaporean immigration authorities stated to Singaporean press.

The man shoved beyond security and approached aggressively the actress and singer, who was attending the Asian debut for the film on the thirteenth of November. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo wrestled him away from Grande.

He has a background of causing disturbances at events and celebrity events, including leaping onto the platform at the pop star's Australian show in the past June.

The incident caused anger in Singapore, with several individuals saying he of causing further distress to the star.

The singer has spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist bombing at her show in the English city in May 2017 took the lives of 22 individuals and injured hundreds.

During Wen's trial, the authorities learned he had tried to gain access on the movie's debut on two occasions, according to local news sources.

He then made a another effort to breach security. Security staff stopped him and held him in place.

He then uploaded videos thanking Grande for letting him on the carpet and said he was "at liberty."

Law enforcement took him into custody the subsequent day and brought charges against him with public nuisance, to which he confessed.

The District Judge the judicial official was referenced by a news outlet as saying that the man sought attention, commenting that he was incorrect to assume he would not suffer any consequences.

The singer has not addressed the case.

Cynthia Erivo spoke about the situation to a media outlet, remarking that she "just wanted to ensure my friend was secure."

"I'm sure he didn't intend us injury, but you cannot be certain with these incidents, and I aimed to ensure that she was alright. That was my immediate response," she commented.
