New Year's Celebrants Urged to Dress Warmly with Wintry Weather Predicted Throughout the UK

Weather experts are saying a chilly start to the new year, with wintry precipitation anticipated across much of the UK. Revelers have been told to bundle up as near-freezing temperatures are predicted for New Year's Eve.

Hogmanay Events Continue In Spite of Alerts

Edinburgh's famous Hogmanay events are set to proceed, following last year's postponement. This proceeds amid advisories for snow in northern Scotland.
